The release of Camera Raw and Lr can be out of step on occasion, but rarely for more than a few weeks.
Here’s the scenario: You just started shooting raw files because you need exposure insurance and white balance flexibility.

This is true if you have a brand new camera and an older version of Photoshop, or new Photoshop that hasn’t been updated.
If that is the case, you may have to update your Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) plugin for Photoshop. Now, if that doesn’t work, you’ll have to download the free Adobe DNG Converter utility, which will convert files from over 200 digital camera Raw files to a more universal RAW file format, DNG (which stands for digital negative), which can then be opened in an older version of Photoshop. If your camera is brand new on the market, it may not be supported for a couple of months after it’s release. Today, Adobe has released several updates for their software, including a new editing interface for their mobile app and a new "Reference View" for the Develop Module in the desktop app.
For Lightroom Mobile 2.6 for i OS, Adobe redesigned the editing interface to be more efficient and provide better access to commonly used tools.
While new features have continued to be added to Camera Raw for Photoshop CC customers since Camera Raw 8.1 back in 2013, Photoshop CS6 customers have been able to continue to use the product with their new cameras’ RAW files to date. Adobe made the following statement in announcing the end of Camera Raw support for Photoshop CS6 users.
In order to pursue further innovations in image processing and workflow technology, the next release of Adobe Camera Raw (v 9.1.1) will be the final version available for use with CS6.
Please note that this bug typically only appeared when using both the Camera Raw plug-in and Photoshop for long running sessions.
